Glopolis Mission Statement

GLOPOLIS - Prague Global Policy Institute

is a non-partisan, non-governmental and non-profit organization, which focuses mainly on the analysis of the globalization processes and their implications for the developing world

Our goal is to contribute to a more profound understanding and critical reflection of the globalization processes in the media, civil society and in the Czech political scene.

We aim to contribute to a more effective public control over the Czech policy making by increasing public awareness and extending expertise. The main activities include political analyses, discussion, formulation and advocacy coupled with consultation, educational and publication activities, organization of seminars, round-tables and conferences.

The long-term objective of the Prague Global Policy Institute – Glopolis is to unleash a wider social debate on questions such as international trade and development, climate change and development, agriculture and development or global governance also in the Central European region and to actively join in the global problems solving.
